Logistic Operation Management

What are the main tasks/responsibilities?

  • Check attendance of all talents and assign and lead group to finish daily objectives
  • Forecast and plan for staging & loading for daily based on inventory
  • Communicate and lead drivers to provide quality issue for inspection from bay
  • Oversee progress of loading by checking status of liveload / drop & hook trailers throughout day
  • Print necessary documents for checking in & out process. This involves multiple steps of verifying trailer#, assigning and allocating loading ticket to respective areas for loading, printing out BOL, and gating out BOL when ready
  • Implement and share daily inventory count at end of day
  • Office document analysis based on data from ERP
  • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary to support the team and business objectives.

What are the key skills needed to efficiently carry out the duties?

  • Associate/Bachelor degree in college
  • Having attention to detail
    Get all employees on daily goal of receiving product and stacking away without damages, loading empty trailer with accuracy.
  • Be a good listener & excellent communicator. It is utmost important to be an excellent communicator with previous shift managers for any change in plan for loading, staffing requests etc.

What are the main tools I will be using?

    • Used for many of the tasks handled by the CY, such as checking in/out drivers, yard status, and paperwork
  • GMES
    • Used to check status of production and lot status
  • KNOX MESSENGER
