Job description

Assistant Director of Event Operations & Technology at Creighton University provides leadership for the Conference and Event Services team and supports Student Center Operations and Student Life initiatives. Serves as the expert for all AV/Technology in the Skutt and Harper Centers: Provides Audio-Visual technology and event operations expertise to campus event spaces and event planners; Engage with the event planning process by collaborating with department staff on event logistics, execution, event setup/teardown, turnovers, and other event related needs; Serves as the installer, optimizer, and point of contact for all technology needs including video, conferencing, communication, etc. for all Conference and Event Services team staff; Supervises 2 professional operations staff and direct supervision of student staff; Assist the Director in the management of the Skutt Student Center and Harper Center, including budget management, evaluation, and acting upon recommendations for purchases of new equipment and inventory, providing direct administration of the department's technological platforms, and directing all department communication efforts.
