We are hiring a Gate Clerkto be the first point of contact for a fast-paced logistics operation. You will play a key role in keeping freight flowing safely and efficiently while supporting drivers, carriers, and on-site teams.

What you will do
  • Manage daily gate operations
  • Check in and out inbound and outbound trailers
  • Verify equipment and complete audits and inspections
  • Track and report activity accurately
  • Support communication and data entry using Excel, Outlook, and Word

Job Duties and Qualifications
What You'll Do
  • Support daily gate and yard operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report trailer or operational issues to site leadership
  • Conduct daily yard audits, inspections, and reconcile trailer inventory in all weather conditions
  • Track daily production numbers and enter data accurately into reporting spreadsheets
  • Maintain and verify daily staffing sheets based on site schedules
  • Assist with tracking equipment maintenance and repairs, partnering with leadership and safety teams
  • Review and ensure accuracy of bills and invoices within the Fleet Management System
  • Process and organize Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs)
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support smooth site operations

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle when needed
  • Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Basic working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, or Teams
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking for extended periods, opening and closing trailer doors, and lifting 50+ pounds
