How you create impact

The Road Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for managing customer interactions and ensuring the smooth execution of road logistics operations within the Healthcare vertical. This includes responding to inquiries, processing orders, coordinating transportation resources, and maintaining service quality standards in a GxP-regulated environment.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email.
  • Receive and process bookings through email or direct integration into the Transportation Management System (TMS), including EDI and E-Booking orders.
  • Secure transportation resources by coordinating with carrier partners.
  • Confirm bookings with shippers, consignees, or both parties.
  • Schedule and manage appointments for pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor shipment progress and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
  • Communicate any deviations from the transport plan promptly and effectively.
  • Capture all transportation status updates required for customer-specific KPIs.
  • Perform file maintenance and corrections as needed to reflect service changes.
  • Promote and solicit additional or new service offerings to customers.
  • Address and resolve complex customer issues with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Collect and document customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate and support quality matters related to KN's Products HealthChain/SecureChain and Semicon.
  • Adhere to internal healthcare guidelines, procedures, and minimum requirements as defined in the Global Quality HealthChain Guideline.
  • Ensure training compliance according to the defined training matrix (for self, as applicable).
  • Maintain basic GxP awareness, including relevant guidelines and other applicable standards.

  • 1+ years of logistics experience required.
  • High school diploma required; higher education preferred.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions under pressure, especially when faced with limited options.
  • Strong sense of urgency and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Decisive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility to work second shift, swing shift, and occasional non-national holidays or weekends based on customer requirements.
