Job description

Inventory Controller (4-Month Project Role) – Bilingual Preferred

Location: Pooler, GA
Reports to: Plant Manager
Start Date: ASAP (must be in place before October)
Compensation: $25 per hour, up to 40 hours per week
Schedule: 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday
Term: Temporary project role (4 months)
Bonus: Possible, based on successful implementation and monitoring


DIRTT is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller for a four-month project role in Pooler, GA. This position will focus on implementing process improvements and inventory controls across our manufacturing facilities. If you have hands-on Kanban implementation experience, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are bilingual, we encourage you to apply! Immediate hire; bonus potential for effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and reconcile cycle counts and full physical inventory audits (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
  • Direct and maintain electronic and physical Kanban replenishment systems to ensure continuous stock availability
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and variances in ERP (preferably SAGE); implement corrective actions
  • Audit daily warehouse receiving, movement, and stock tracking for real-time inventory accuracy
  • Develop and enforce inventory control SOPs and compliance standards
  • Manage disposal, quarantine, and re-purposing of damaged, scrap, or obsolete materials
  • Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and year-end inventory counts; provide accurate physical stock reports
  • Collaborate with Inventory Analyst, production, and procurement teams
  • Train staff on inventory protocols, Kanban signals, and system scanning
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for accuracy, storage utilization, and loss prevention

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3–5 years’ experience in inventory control/material management/manufacturing warehouse operations
  • Proven success implementing Kanban and Lean manufacturing systems
  • Strong proficiency with ERP (SAGE preferred) and inventory software
  • Skilled in cycle counting, auditing, and root-cause analysis
  • Excellent communication, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage deadlines and perform physical audits in a manufacturing environment
  • Bilingual skills highly preferred
