Job description

We are looking for Warehouse Cargo & Ramp Service Agents with enthusiastic attitudes for our new operation. Pinnacle offers a benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental. Come and build your future with our company!
Pinnacle Logistics is a leading provider of scheduled surface transportation, supply chain management, and related logistics services within the domestic United States. Every day, we manage the shipment of goods to and from over 40 freight terminals.
Job Types: Full Time
Pay: $15.00 per hour

New Hourly Bonus $500 after 30 days
$1000 Bonus after 120 days
Shifts available:

  • 7am-3:30pm
  • 3:30am -12pm

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The role of a Warehouse Service Agent includes all aspects of the cargo & ramp operational activities listed below and ensures our service delivery and performance to our customers is of the highest standards in the industry.
We also accept walk-ins from MONDAY- FRIDAY 9AM-3PM
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operations- responsible for the operational performance of Pinnacle Logistics in order to maximize synergies, deliver the Pinnacle promise, and fulfill our Vision, Culture and Mission.
  • Loading & unloading of cargo (mail, express, baggage, freight and company material) on and off trucks & aircraft. Transporting of cargo between Freighter and Passenger stands where required.
  • Responsible for physical handling of cargo warehousing and ramp activities, including receiving, dispatching and staging airfreight, and mail. Operating motorized vehicles as related to the task from GPU's and tugs towing up to 80,000lbs. Cleaning of work areas, equipment, and facilities.
  • Training- Learning and development cross utilizing best practices making sure that customer's and staff's objectives are met.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Internal relations- ensures company, client policies, and SOP's are adhered to.

Ensure all statutory and company policies are complied with, conduct, and assist with any investigation or claims that are brought to the attention of the business.

  • Health, Safety & Security- ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, TSA legislation, and company policy. Develop and maintain a positive health and safety culture focused on awareness and vigilance

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Prepared to undertake any additional training to complement the operation
  • Flexible working hours required, occasional after hours will be required
  • Must pass a Drug Test and Background Screen
  • 18 years and older.
  • Communicate clearly to fellow agents and supervisors
  • Respond quickly to instructions in a noisy, fast-paced work environment.
  • Mandated safety standards required to perform a job.
  • Respond to machinery, such as forklifts and tug cargo car, that communicates with horns/sounds. Must be able to hear the audible safety notifications of the forklift.
  • Ability to move packages from warehouse stock and prepare the product for deliveries.
  • Ability to lift packages weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the warehouse/ walk for up to 10 hours a day.

  • Mandatory Overtime- During busy periods, Pinnacle may require employees to work extended hours. Overtime is considered a condition of employment, and refusal to accept it when reasonable notice has been given is cause for discipline, up to and including termination.*
