Position Summary

We are seeking a Freight Forwarding Administration Data Analyst to join our Freight Forwarding Administration team. This role plays a critical part in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions across operations, sales, and leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop reports and dashboards, and support KPI tracking, forecasting, and budgeting.

The Freight Forwarding Administration Data Analyst, based at one of the US branch locations of LOGISTEED America, Inc. is responsible for managing and coordinating activities within the Freight Forwarding Administration department. This role is responsible for supporting various departments within LOGISTEED America, Inc. from a data analysis perspective.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for generating/creating reports, interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing actionable insights to drive informed decision-making across the company. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, develop analytical solutions, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports
  • Analyze freight forwarding data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Build dashboards, visualizations, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Support financial tracking, forecasting, and annual budgeting
  • Respond to data requests from leadership and headquarters
  • Perform ETL processes and clean and validate data
  • Automate reporting workflows
  • Collaborate with teams to define KPIs and improve processes
  • Ensure data quality and integrity
Qualifications

Required:

  • 3 years freight forwarding experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Experience with CargoWise or similar systems
  • Knowledge of data analysis or visualization tools
Work Environment

Ninety-five percent of the work time will be spent in an office setting where the environment is climate controlled. Five percent of work time may be spent in various warehouses or other locations where the environment is not climate controlled (hot and cold seasonally).
