*8+ years of transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain related experience

Job Description
  • Manage daily Control Tower operations across drayage, rail, transloading centers, warehouse operations, and OTR transportation.
  • Monitor shipment movement and transportation performance to ensure timely execution while proactively resolving operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly operational reports, KPI dashboards, and executive presentations for management, customers, and headquarters.
  • Analyze transportation data to identify trends, operational risks, service failures, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with ocean carriers, trucking companies, rail providers, warehouses, terminals, and other logistics partners to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Review carrier performance and conduct regular business reviews to drive continuous service improvements.
  • Lead transportation optimization initiatives, process improvements, automation projects, and operational standardization.
  • Support transportation contract reviews, service agreements, and implementation of new logistics programs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and overseas offices to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth shipment execution.
  • Lead and develop team members while promoting accountability, collaboration, and customer-focused service.
  • Support day-to-day operations as needed and lead by example with a hands-on approach.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English required.
  • 8+ years of transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain related experience.
  • Strong experience with drayage, rail transportation, transloading centers, warehouse operations, and OTR transportation.
  • Strong understanding of international transportation, ocean shipping, freight forwarding, and North American transportation networks.
  • Experience managing transportation vendors, carrier performance, and customer relationships.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members with effective leadership.
  • Experience with TMS, WMS, ERP, or logistics visibility platforms preferred.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Hands-on leader who is willing to support the team with both operational tasks and strategic projects.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the U.S.
