Overview
STN Incorporated is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support the efficient operation of our data center environments. This role is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, tracking, and delivery of critical IT infrastructure assets, including servers, network equipment, racks, cables, spare parts, and facility components. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure inventory accuracy, support asset lifecycle management, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain compliance with company security and operational standards. Data center logistics requires precise coordination of hardware, inventory, and deployment schedules to support uptime and operational reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Asset Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for servers, network equipment, spare parts, tools, and consumables.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.
  • Track asset movement from receiving through deployment, redeployment, and decommissioning.
  • Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately documented in asset management and inventory systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of critical spare parts and operational supplies.
Shipping & Receiving
  • Coordinate and process inbound and outbound shipments of IT equipment and infrastructure materials.
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate carrier pickups.
  • Track shipments and proactively resolve transportation or delivery issues.
  • Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) shipments and vendor returns.
Data Center Operations Support
  • Stage equipment for deployment, maintenance, and project activities.
  • Coordinate with Data Center Technicians, Operations teams, Procurement, and vendors to ensure hardware availability.
  • Support hardware installation schedules by ensuring equipment is received, inventoried, and available when needed.
  • Assist with decommissioning projects and secure disposition of retired assets.
  • Maintain organized storage areas, cages, and equipment rooms.
Vendor & Carrier Coordination
  • Serve as a point of contact for suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics providers.
  • Schedule deliveries and coordinate site access requirements.
  • Ensure vendors comply with facility security and operational procedures.
  • Coordinate delivery timelines for critical infrastructure projects.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, asset tracking, and inventory reporting.
  • Follow chain-of-custody procedures for high-value IT assets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and data center security requirements.
  • Generate inventory, shipment, and asset lifecycle reports for management review.
Experience & QualificationsRequired
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics, inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
  • Experience in a data center, technology, manufacturing, or mission-critical environment preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management, ERP, WMS, or asset tracking systems.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting data center operations or IT infrastructure environments.
  • Familiarity with servers, networking equipment, racks, and structured cabling.
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and hardware tracking.
  • Experience with DCIM, ServiceNow, NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience (if applicable).
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in warehouse and data center environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely move and stage racks, servers, and IT hardware.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call schedules to support critical operations.
