Job description

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Truck Dispatcher to join our team. We are looking for a motivated and dependable individual with strong communication and organization skills, knowledge of freight coordination, BioPharma transport and driver support. The ideal candidate will be eager to contribute to efficient transportation operations by ensuring timely pickups, deliveries and maintaining a positive relationship with drivers and customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assign loads and routes to drivers
  • Monitor truck locations and pickup, delivery schedule
  • Monitor load temperature BioPharma shipment
  • Communicate with drivers regarding pickups, deliveries and temperature instructions / settings
  • Use load boards such as CH Robinson to find backhauls
  • Track shipments, update operation staff and computer system
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations

Requirements:
  • Experience in trucking, logistics or dispatching preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with load boards
    • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standard

Education:
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
