Logistics controllers are professionals responsible for managing and coordinating the movement, storage, and distribution of goods within a supply chain. They ensure that products are delivered to the right location on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Their duties often include overseeing inventory levels, tracking shipments, negotiating with carriers, and optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency. Logistics controllers play a crucial role in reducing costs and ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining smooth operations from supplier to customer.

How does a logistics controller typically collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations?

A Logistics Controller frequently works alongside procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to coordinate the timely movement of goods and resolve any bottlenecks in the supply chain.
