We are seeking an Operations and Logistics Specialist to support our Logistics and International Planning teams in a role that blends data analysis and logistics operations (approximately 50% analytical and 50% administrative/logistics responsibilities). In this position, you will leverage multiple systems to generate reports and insights that support the management of logistics operations and international planning. You will collaborate across teams within the Logistics and Operations organization while developing a strong understanding of logistics and export processes. This role also serves as a key point of contact for questions related to order entry, operations, and logistics, ensuring escalations are handled professionally and efficiently. Additionally, you will track and report KPIs, identify operational deficiencies, and help improve processes that strengthen performance and reliability across the department.

As an Operations and Logistics Specialist at Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, you will:
  • Record and communicate KPIs by logging incidents and working with the supervisor for reporting metrics
  • Create and maintain all digital ISO and process documentation for the International Planning Group/Transportation.
  • Create/maintain reports and data as needed utilizing Excel, OBI and Oracle.
  • Become the SME in all logistics processes
  • Liaison between the business and IT when supporting Projects.
  • Ensure prompt escalation of operational issues to management for resolution.
  • Represent the Department in internal meetings and projects as needed.
  • Responsible for training and mentoring the team.
  • Manage time sensitive tasks. (QA holds, Item changes, Date moves, ATO scheduling)
  • Order/Quote entry
  • Complete Transactions needed in the system
  • Processing of Drop ships, RMA and MIT's as needed
  • Attend Item meetings to become item expert for team.
  • Maintain and improve the Latin America Order Form
  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Associate Degree or 2+ years Logistics / Exports / Supply Chain
  • Ability to multitask in various disciplines in a fast-paced environment
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely organized with strong customer service, analytical, interpersonal, and proven decision-making skills
  • Advanced Level in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PP) required
  • Oracle ERP and OBI systems preferred

The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $48,700 - $67,800 annually.This role is categorized as non-exempt and eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law.The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Rosemont, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
