7AM-3:30PM MONDAY-FRIDAY

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator oversees daily warehouse, logistics, and inventory activities to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient movement of materials and finished products. This role combines hands-on warehouse work with system-based shipping, receiving, and inventory management in Odoo, while supporting test floor setups and cross-functional operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee daily warehouse operations, including picking, staging, packing, and material movement to support production and shipping schedules.
  • Support crating and uncrating operations, ensuring safe handling of pumps, components, and assemblies and proper use of hand and power tools.
  • Assist with test floor setup by hooking up pumps and preparing units for testing as needed, applying mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Complete all shipping paperwork and transactions in Odoo, including carrier scheduling, labeling, documentation, and shipment confirmation.
  • Learn and perform receiving functions, including verifying deliveries, documenting discrepancies, and entering inventory into the system accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate inbound and outbound logistics, resolving issues and delays as they arise.
  • Maintain accurate counts and organized storage of inventory items to support production and customer orders.
  • Support cycle counting and inventory audits as directed, helping to identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify and report any storage, equipment, or safety issues immediately to maintain a safe and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper use of forklifts, material handling equipment, and safe lifting and stacking practices.
  • Ensure crating, storage, and material movements meet company safety and quality standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or near misses promptly to help prevent incidents.
  • Provide coverage and support for other warehouse associates as required to meet operational needs.
  • Assist in training new warehouse staff on procedures, best practices, safety protocols, and use of Odoo and warehouse tools.
  • Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and accuracy in all warehouse and logistics activities.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, situational awareness, and reliability in daily tasks and decision-making.
  • Maintain professionalism and clear communication when interacting with other departments, vendors, and carriers.
  • Learn and master shipping and receiving processes both physically on the warehouse floor and within Odoo, becoming a subject matter resource for the team.
  • Take initiative in identifying areas for process improvement in warehouse layout, material flow, documentation, and system usage, and suggest practical solutions.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems (WMS), preferably including transaction entry and inventory adjustments.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, including their safe use in crate building, material handling, and general warehouse tasks.
  • Crating or industrial material handling, including safe movement and protection of heavy or sensitive equipment.
  • Familiarity with shipping carriers and logistics documentation, including labels, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Ability to perform accurate picking, packing, and packaging to meet order and quality requirements.
  • Strong material handling skills, including safe lifting, stacking, and staging of products and materials.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to support test floor setups, including hooking up pumps and preparing units for testing.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, inventory counts, and system entries.
  • Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems for shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
  • Prior experience supporting cross-functional teams in a logistics, warehouse, or light industrial setting.
  • Ability to train and mentor new team members on warehouse procedures and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with internal teams and external vendors.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
