IPV Logistics Material Specialist IV


Supporting Mission-Critical Operations | DoD Environment | Secret Clearance Required

Are you a detail-driven logistics professional with strong customer service skills and DoD experience? Join our team as an IPV Logistics Material Specialist IV (LMS IV) and play a vital role in supporting maintenance operations through accurate inventory control, bench stock management, and hands-on logistics support.

This position operates under the Projects ISO-certified processes with direct guidance from site management, ensuring compliance, precision, and operational excellence in a fast-paced DoD environment.


What Youll Do

As an LMS IV, you will be the backbone of bench stock operations, ensuring maintenance teams have the right materials at the right time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Kind, Count, and Condition (KCC) validation when processing incoming receipts
  • Segregate, stage, and deliver bench stock materials from the SAIC central staging area to designated depot shops
  • Accurately store materials in assigned bins and storage locations
  • Conduct visual inventory checks of assigned bin locations at least twice weekly
  • Scan and replenish bins at or below reorder points
  • Enter and update data using computer systems and handheld scanners
  • Print and apply bar code labels as required
  • Issue bench stock to maintenance personnel with professionalism and accuracy
  • Quickly escalate customer concerns to site management for resolution
  • Cross-level stock between storage locations to meet maintenance demands


Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of customer service experience
  • Experience in inventory, shipping/receiving, logistics, or administrative support
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (required)
  • Valid state drivers license
  • Maintenance experience on equipment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds daily
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Comfortable operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, delivery cart, etc.)
  • Ability to read and follow basic written instructions
  • Willingness to wear required PPE (hearing protection, safety goggles, ESD wristbands, OSHA-approved safety shoes)
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to pass federal drug screening and background check


Highly Desired:

  • Prior DoD bench stock experience
  • Prior DoD supply experience
