Summary:
The Logistics Associate position is an incredibly detail-oriented, fast-moving role that is responsible for receiving, moving and stocking shelves, inventory control, upkeep and organization of the physical stockrooms, and data maintenance of key inventory systems (Epicor). You will love this position if you love to be on your feet, moving fast, and appreciate when things are neat, tidy and organized. You'll work with a high energy, vibrant team and no two days are exactly the same. This department is the heartbeat of Ilmor Marine - every product, part and consumable flows through this crew: accuracy, energy and good vibes are key!
Nuts & Bolts:
  • Location: New Hudson, MI
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm + occasional evenings and weekends if needed
  • Pay: $19 - $22/hour

Essential Duties
  • Complete cycle counting of parts and report discrepancies
  • Monitor and maintain current inventory levels and provide order recommendations
  • Load/Unload of trucks with forklift
  • Maintain general organization and cleanliness of inventory areas
  • Maintain the stock of building consumables (gloves, lubricants, zip ties, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records in our ERP system
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) experience with inventory control or shipping & receiving
  • Forklift driving experience
  • Ability to self-manage and deliver on time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Dedicated to seeing tasks through to completion

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand. The employee is frequently required to use their hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, use tools or controls and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel crouch, crawl and talk or hear.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electric shock and explosives.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. However, some instances of this job may require work in areas where ear protection is necessary.
