Logistics Coordinator

Contract-to-Hire
Join a leading transportation and logistics provider that specializes in freight movement, supply chain coordination, and distribution services. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to support daily logistics operations, customer communications, and reporting functions.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable working with large datasets and advanced Excel functions to support transportation and supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, orders, and transportation-related inquiries
  • Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve service issues
  • Maintain accurate order and shipment records within internal systems
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis tools, to manage and analyze operational data
  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on shipment status, performance metrics, and operational trends
  • Collaborate with internal departments, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies involving shipments, inventory, or billing

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or customer service
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
