Job description

Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist, Import
It's more than a job
As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. And by transporting medicines, toys and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods, you are making small and big moments possible for people all around the world. At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine.
How you create impact
You will serve as a trusted point of contact for a portfolio of Sea Logistics customers, building strong relationships and delivering responsive, solutions-focused support. Working closely with Field Sales and Operational Care, you will help strengthen customer engagement, resolve concerns, and support retention while ensuring customer activity is accurately documented and financially sound.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers and proactively address their needs
  • Manage customer inquiries, concerns, service cases, and end-to-end spot quotes
  • Partner with Field Sales and Operational Care to support customer satisfaction, retention, and reactivation
  • Record customer interactions in CoreLog and maintain customer profiles, business profiles, and SOPs
  • Support customers with KN digital tools and automation solutions
  • Monitor service exceptions, profitability, financial risks, and overdue accounts receivable
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience

What we would like you to bring
Your customer-facing experience and ability to build trust will be more important than having extensive logistics knowledge. You should be comfortable managing difficult conversations, balancing multiple priorities, and working collaboratively across teams. Freight-forwarding knowledge is helpful, but the industry and internal processes can be taught.
  • Previous customer service, account management, or other customer-facing experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to remain composed when resolving customer concerns
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to learn new systems, tools, and logistics processes
  • Some experience with pricing, profitability, receivables, or financial decision-making
  • Freight-forwarding or Sea Logistics experience is preferred, but not required

What's in it for you
At QuickSTAT we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. We offer a dynamic global work environment with opportunities for excellent training programs and career mobility. The target salary range for this position is between $25 and $27. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. QuickSTAT reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data.
