Our client develops and produces innovative solutions that enhance product quality, safety, performance, and sustainability. With manufacturing and operations across multiple locations, they support customers worldwide through advanced technology, research, and technical expertise. They are currently looking to add a Logistics Administrative Assistant to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr - $30/hr
Position Overview
The Logistics Administrative Assistant is responsible for coordinating and optimizing product distribution across customers, locations, and distribution channels to ensure inventory is available where and when it is needed. This role works closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and Customer Service teams to monitor inventory levels, manage product allocations, and address supply constraints.
Responsibilities Of The Logistics Administrative Assistant
  • Manage and coordinate product allocation across customers, locations, and distribution channels.
  • Review customer orders and inventory availability to determine appropriate product allocations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages, overages, or supply constraints.
  • Prioritize orders based on customer requirements, business priorities, and product availability.
  • Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and Customer Service teams to coordinate product movement.
  • Track allocation requests and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and allocation records within ERP, inventory management, or order management systems.
Required Experience/Skills For The Logistics Administrative Assistant
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in product allocation, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, order management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution processes.
  • Experience working with ERP, inventory management, or order management systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret inventory and sales data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when managing large volumes of orders and inventory information.
Preferred Experience/Skills For The Logistics Administrative Assistant
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, and Operations.
  • Experience with inventory allocation and demand planning processes.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
