Located in Mount Albert, Ont., Autostrada, a derivative of Strada Aggregates, is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our aggregate transportation and hauling operations. This position is responsible for overseeing fleet utilization, dispatch operations, driver performance, customer service, and overall operational efficiency to ensure the cost-effective delivery of aggregates and construction materials.


Key Responsibilities
Manage daily transportation, dispatch, and logistics operations.
Oversee company-owned and subcontracted fleets to maximize productivity and utilization.
Lead dispatch and scheduling activities to ensure efficient routing and service delivery.
Monitor operational performance, transportation costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives through process optimization and technology solutions.
Prepare operational reports, forecasts, and recommendations for leadership.
Support business development initiatives by providing logistics expertise and operational solutions.


Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in transportation, logistics, fleet management, or aggregate hauling operations.
3-5 years of leadership experience managing transportation, dispatch, or logistics teams.
Experience within aggregates, construction materials, heavy haul, or bulk transportation industries preferred.
Strong knowledge of fleet management systems, dispatch software, GPS tracking, and route optimization tools.
Working knowledge of transportation regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
