Summary:

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.

Shift: Monday-Friday 9a-5:30p

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report each dayin order toplan work activities.
  • Plans inbound and outbound schedules according to meet customer metrics.
  • Responsible for sorting operations, productivity, efficiency, safety, and security.
  • Determines staffing needs based onworkloadand schedules staff accordingly.
  • Assigns workers to specific duties based onworkloadand shipping schedules.
  • Reviews and updates operational procedures as necessary and ensures they are communicated to and understood by the warehouse associates.
  • Tracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.
  • Advises employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Traces the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
  • Issues with written and oral instructions.
  • Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed.
  • Position is full-time and on-site.
  • Must be available to work afternoons, nights and weekends

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to threeyearsrelated experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

  • $60,000 - $63,000

*The above-stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
