The Position
This role will work within an assigned outlet with opportunity to cross over to other outlets. You will assist in providing support with work flow, administration and developing employees. A key role in engaging and motivating a team to deliver a high customer experience and product knowledge to our guests.
This role will ensure continuity of operations during the Manager's absence, as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support management of staffing levels to maximize productivity and business performance to be fully conversant in all training modules for each outlet
  • Support the TA team in staffing and recruitment initiatives
  • Assist with the supervision of all staff and performance management process through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team
  • Work with the team to promote and model the highest level of customer service to deliver maximum customer satisfaction
  • Be attentive and responsive to customer related issues or concerns
  • Understand and utilize performance metrics to assess and drive financial success under the guidance of the Food and Beverage management team
  • Assist with the creation and management of scheduling and shift in accordance with operational requirements
  • Maintain and promote departmental quality standards.
  • Be fully conversant in all training modules for their outlet
  • Create a positive and engaging work environment people want to be a part of
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a full-service restaurant and/or bar operations
  • Relevant post-secondary education in Hospitality Management or another related field preferred
  • Smart Serve and Food Handlers certification
  • WHMIS (Training provided)
  • Some knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality in general
  • Experience with managing multiple outlets is an asset
  • Adaptable and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • An understanding of regulatory compliances in Employment Standards, Occupational Health and Safety, and Liquor License Act.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in hot, cold and humid environments (indoor/outdoor) as required
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
