Credence has an immediate need for a Logistician B-52 Div (WBD) at the senior level who will be primarily responsible for supporting the B-52 Stratofortress Division (AFLCMC WBD) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The B-52 Stratofortress division protects our nation by modernizing and sustaining the B-52 fleet and ensuring continued AF power projection. With a 60-year history as the backbone of the nation's nuclear deterrence operations, the current fleet of 76 B-52H aircraft is capable of deploying the widest array of weapons in the U.S. inventory and supports multiple combatant command operations. This division provides world-class expertise and technical services, ensuring the operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness of war-winning capabilities. It also maintains the airworthiness of the B-52 Stratofortress throughout its projected service life, which extends to 2050. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Coordinate all logistics elements (e.g., spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, provisioning) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the F/B Directorate's needs. Advise and assist the Government in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further Government acquisition strategy goals and objectives. Assist in obtaining needed logistics resources, and participate in site surveys and program reviews. Perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements. Provide support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSPs), LCSPs, Technical Orders (TOs), Technical Manuals, Electronic Technical Manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns, Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements. Participate in integrated logistics support management team meetings, PMRs, and other related meetings. In addition, the Contractor shall assist the Government in performing logistics support analysis tasks. Create and/or maintain all-inclusive database to track the status and location of any Government Furnished Property (GFP) supporting the Program Offices. Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the depth and breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts. Support the program office during MSA, TMRR, EMD, Production and Deployment, and O&S phases, to include all milestone activities. Assist in performing materiel solution analyses leading up to design reviews. Produce or support development of draft documentation and presentation materials as requested or necessitated by programmatic limits based on cost, schedule and performance. Apply logistics knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable and effective systems support strategy. Address product support elements as follows: system engineering; design interface; supply support; maintenance planning and management; Support Equipment/Automatic Test Systems (SE/ATS); facilities; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); technical data management/TOs; manpower and personnel; training; computer resources; and protection of Critical Program Information (CPI) and Anti-Tamper (AT) provisions. Work on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapon systems logistics requirements and resources; implementation of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans; systems acquisition requirements analysis; budgetary or financial analysis and control; life cycle cost analysis and control; Automatic Identification System (AIS) hardware and software standardization and compatibility; product support/Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Cost (RAM-C) program test and evaluation planning and execution; and product support/RAM-C analysis and assessments in supportability planning, Long Range Development Plan (LRDP), and the Plant Clearance Automated Reutilization Screening System. Assist in collecting, compiling, analyzing, investigating, researching, and/or applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition or financial data and information. Assist in developing, modifying, preparing and/or validating documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems. Assist with technical analyses, planning and execution and assist the Government in review of technical specifications and documentation in support of Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) efforts to facilitate and update sustainment issues identified as related to the LCSP and Integrated Support Plan (ISP). Analyze as required Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)/ GFP, Support Equipment (SE), life support, and demilitarization requirements. Analyze and compare Government and prime weapon system contractor GFE/GFP plans and schedules with program status to recommend those actions required to comply with plans, identify changes to plans, and recommend corrective actions to resolve problem areas. Apply knowledge of GFP/GFE purchasing to determine cost, develop budgets, process purchasing documentation and resolve issues to ensure adequate asset availability. Provide analyses of configuration, deliveries and deficiencies as well as analyze and assist with the integration of training system requirements into production program plans and documentation. Maintain data files for all depot and modification aircraft from inception through disposal. Identify and provide recommendations and/or solutions regarding candidate opportunities to reduce weapons system AFTOC. Support scheduled and unscheduled depot maintenance and modification tasks and weapons system sustainment activities. Gather and organize required data to support Government in depth technical evaluations and provide recommendations for depot level maintenance and modification requirements. Accomplish technical data management and analyses, write reports, recommend actions, or perform any related tasks that provide logisticians the capability to acquire, store and manage in a timely, efficient, cost-affordable manner, the recorded information needed to translate system and equipment design requirements into discrete engineering and logistics considerations, and manage a TO/technical data library. Access/maintain Government electronic technical systems, including but not limited to the Integrated Electronic Technical Management System (IETMS) and Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistics Support (JCALS) system. Prepare an engineering data management plan, TO verification plans, and TO management plans. Assist and identify engineering data requirements and data right claims. Arrange and support engineering data/TO/commercial manual guidance conferences and in-process reviews. Assist in reviewing, tracking, and monitoring verification and delivery of engineering/technical data; identify requirements for manuals to include military use of commercial maintenance, repair, service, overhaul, and flight manuals, and arrange for printing and distribution of TOs/data and updates. Assist in identifying, reviewing and analyzing deficiencies and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) IAW the weapons system contract. Review and analyze Deficiency Reports (DRs) and assist in conducting root cause analysis of the supply chain in order to identify any problems and areas for improvement. Review recommended tech order changes (AFTO Form 22, Engineering Dispositions), identify potential impacts to the supply chain and provide inputs to ILSMs, program and fleet managers. Track and monitor Technical Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) or the commercial equivalent. Provide support to the sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition management, procurement and other associated logistics data of critical assets, insurance spares, tooling and related parts and material. Provide support to the development and maintenance of Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition Plans (PPTP) and Transition to Post Production (TPP). Develop and execute requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and TPP. Support material efforts regarding damage scenarios, recovery, rebuild and depot maintenance, production shutdown, risk mitigation, part configurations, and production asset disposition. Assist in resolving DMSMS issues, research parts availability, establish aircraft parts supply priority, and resolve Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAP) situations. Identify parts' cost, lead-times and sources of repair or manufacture. Assist in forecasting supply support requirements and interface with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to coordinate, track and monitor supply status. Use their logistics expertise and USAF supply chain knowledge to provide complete logistics support in all aspects of supply system support including accessing applicable systems such as Department of Defense - Electronic Mall (DoD EMALL) D200 and D043. Assist in ensuring that supply systems and procedures are followed per USAF guidance. Capture and record all pertinent supply data. Participate in process improvement activities and meetings, to include IPT meetings, stand-up meetings, logistics reviews, PMRs and other meetings in support of workload requirements. Assist the program office by preparing, and coordinating program management agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLA), MOAs/MOUs, SOOs, SOWs, PWSs, electronic staff summary sheets (eSSS), and other program documents or directives as assigned. Review the LSA documentation for recommended changes to Source Maintenance Recoverability (SMR) codes from depot to field level or from field to depot level of repair. Consider the availability of adequate technical documentation, support equipment, and skills required to accomplish the repair at the requested level. Report their results directly to the Government and document in the monthly status reports.
