Position Overview
At Stiiizy, the Logistics Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations at a more tactical level, ensuring the smooth and compliant movement of products within the supply chain. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating inventory management, and monitoring the transportation of goods to ensure that all processes adhere to company policies and industry regulations. The Logistics Supervisor works closely with the Logistics Manager to implement procedures that improve efficiency and reduce costs, while also addressing any immediate issues related to product quality, shipping, or vendor communication. This position plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity and supporting the overall logistics strategy. Success in this role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to the fast-paced demands of the cannabis industry. 
Job Functions
Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure the smooth and compliant movement of products through the supply chain. 

  • Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high performance and adherence to company standards. 
  • Coordinate inventory management processes, ensuring accurate records and efficient stock flow. 
  • Monitor the transportation of goods to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. 
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to implement procedures that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and address operational challenges. 
  • Address immediate issues related to product quality, shipping delays, or vendor communication to maintain operational continuity. 
  • Enforce compliance with company policies and regulatory standards to ensure the safe and lawful movement of goods. 
  • Contribute to the execution of the overall logistics strategy by identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 21 years of age 
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant industry experience. 
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems (ERP, TMS, or WMS) for overseeing supply chain operations and inventory control. 
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes. 
  • Skilled in supervising and training staff to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with company policies. 
  • Ability to monitor and analyze transportation processes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the cannabis industry or similar regulated sectors. 
  • Competence in problem-solving and decision-making to address logistical challenges and improve workflows. 
  • Proficient in using data analysis tools, such as Excel or reporting software, to monitor key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and transportation providers. 

Physical Demands

  • Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday. 
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed. 
  • Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required. 
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer. 
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time. 
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, hot or cool. 
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.  
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.  
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
