This individual will play a critical leadership role by managing daily operations, supervising field staff, and supporting organizational growth. Job Description:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading day-to-day activities across a regional EMS operation, including oversight of EMT staff, scheduling, staffing logistics, and compliance. This is a hands-on role that requires a combination of operational expertise, team leadership, and excellent communication. The ideal candidate has experience in emergency medical services and is ready to step into an impactful leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations and manage a team of 10–12 EMTs
  • Oversee staff scheduling and ensure adequate shift coverage
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance oversight for field staff
  • Review operational processes and recommend improvements
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations
  • Maintain operational readiness by inspecting vehicles, stations, and equipment
  • Submit payroll and service reports in a timely manner
  • Monitor and enhance dispatch and response performance metrics
  • Participate in leadership meetings and remain accessible for operational needs

Qualifications:

  • EMT, Paramedic, or clinical background strongly preferred
  • Prior leadership experience in healthcare, hospitality, retail, or service-based industries
  • Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based environment
  • Ability to lift and move up to 250 lbs as needed
