Job description

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in logistics, from data and inventory management to logistics support. The Logistics Intern will work in the shipping and receiving area. The primary function is to receive incoming goods and to organize and disperse the goods to the assembly departments as needed. This is a full time internship and the individual must be able to work Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Stocking incoming goods to storage areas in Logistics.
  • Picking specified products and quantities per picklists generated in SAP
  • Delivering picked products to the specified Assembly location
  • Boxing and packaging outgoing shipments of components

General Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a a releveant degree program
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges
  • Physical ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to bend, lift, squat, stoop, walk, and climb throughout an 8-hour shift
