Mallory Alexander International Logistics , a global third-party logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking a Logistics Professional to join our growing team.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director to lead our M-PACT Trade Compliance Consulting team. M-PACT is a specialized consulting practice focused on supporting importers and exporters with comprehensive trade compliance solutions. This role is responsible for driving client engagement, expanding the business through organic growth and new client acquisition, developing new service offerings, and ensuring excellence in service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities Client Engagement & Business Development
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, building strong, trusted relationships
  • Drive organic growth within existing accounts while proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities
  • Lead client presentations, proposals, and solution design tailored to trade compliance needs
  • Draft, review, and negotiate proposals, statements of work, and client agreements
  • Represent M-PACT in client meetings, industry events, and business development initiatives
Product & Service Development
  • Develop and expand M-PACTโ€™s portfolio of trade compliance consulting services
  • Identify market needs and create new solutions, tools, and service offerings to drive revenue growth
  • Standardize and package services to improve scalability and consistency
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trade compliance professionals
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-driven team culture
  • Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee project execution to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
  • Establish and implement best practices, standard operating procedures, and process improvements
  • Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction
Subject Matter Expertise
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on U.S. import/export regulations, including customs compliance and trade programs
  • Advise clients on compliance strategies, risk mitigation, and regulatory changes
  • Ensure all consulting services align with current laws and industry standards
Qualifications
  • Licensed U.S. Customs Broker (Required)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in import and export compliance
  • Proven experience in a client-facing, consulting, or advisory role
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client growth
  • Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and client agreements
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams
  • Experience overseeing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a trade compliance consulting firm or similar advisory role
  • Knowledge of CTPAT, FTAs, reconciliation, HTSUS classifications, duty drawback, trade remedies, and other trade programs.
  • Experience with post entry corrections and correspondence such as PSC, Protest, 520(d), and responding to CBP CF28/29.
  • Experience developing and launching new consulting products or service lines
  • Established industry network and client relationships.
  • Cargowise and ACE portal experience a plus.

The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $140,000, depending on experience and geographic location. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, which covers medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
