Job description

Senior Sales Representative (3PL / Logistics Sales)

Location: On-Site Atlanta, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Travel: Local and occasional out-of-town travel required

Build New Business for a Growing Logistics Leader

Are you a sales professional who builds your own pipeline, and who wins by understanding a customer's operation better than anyone else in the room?

At Fulfillment Strategies International (FSI), we are looking for a high-performing Senior Sales Representative to join our growing team and drive the next phase of our expansion. This is a new-business role. You will find companies whose fulfillment is holding them back, learn how their operation actually runs, and put a solution in front of them that FSI can deliver.

If you like selling face-to-face and virtually, digging into how a business really works, and being measured on what you close we want to meet you.

Why Join FSI

At FSI, you are not just selling logistics. You are helping companies improve efficiency, scale their operations, and strengthen the experience their own customers have.

We offer:

  • An established, growing 3PL organization with a facility that sells itself
  • A leadership team that is close to the work and available to you
  • Ongoing sales coaching and development
  • Business casual, team-oriented environment
  • Competitive benefits package
  • Employer-paid medical coverage
  • Dental and vision benefits
  • Employer-matched 401(k)
  • Advancement based on performance
  • The ability to make a measurable impact in a fast-moving industry
What You'll Do

As a Senior Sales Representative, you are responsible for generating new business for FSI: finding companies that are outgrowing how they fulfill today, understanding their operation well enough to know what it is costing them, and closing them.

In this role, you will:

  • Generate your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, targeted campaigns, and in-person canvassing
  • Identify and research companies that ship product regularly and are straining against how they currently do it
  • Meet prospects on site to learn how their fulfillment, warehousing, and shipping actually run today
  • Get past surface-level complaints to the operational and financial cost underneath late shipments, error rates, labor spend, space constraints, capital tied up in a warehouse they never wanted to run
  • Collect real requirements before anything gets priced: SKU counts, order volume, seasonality, kitting complexity, carrier mix, systems integration
  • Bring qualified prospects to the FSI facility and let the operation speak for itself
  • Present customized 3PL, fulfillment, warehousing, and distribution solutions built on what you learned, in the customer's own terms then ask for the business
  • Keep sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline current in the CRM, and forecast accurately against your number
  • Track trends, risks, and opportunities in the logistics marketplace carrier dynamics, e-commerce shifts, competitor moves
  • Partner with leadership, operations, and implementation teams to ensure a clean onboarding
What We're Looking For

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented seller who builds pipeline rather than inherits it, and who earns the deal by understanding the customer's operation.

Required:

  • Proven success selling a considered, multi-stakeholder solution something that took several conversations and more than one decision-maker to close
  • A track record of generating your own pipeline, and the ability to walk us through exactly how you did it
  • Strong discovery skills: you get to the real problem by asking, not by presenting
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Experience managing opportunities through a CRM platform, and the discipline to keep it current
  • Comfort with direct feedback and coaching on your own calls and deals
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license; this role is in the field

Helpful, not required:

  • Experience selling third-party logistics (3PL), fulfillment, warehousing, or transportation solutions
  • Experience selling into operations and supply chain leadership
  • Bachelor's degree

We would rather hire a disciplined seller who needs to learn logistics than a logistics veteran who needs to learn to prospect. The first is something we can teach.

Work Environment & Travel

This is a full-time, on-site position. While flexibility may occasionally be available based on business needs, this role requires an in-person presence and regular client engagement.

  • Local travel: Frequent and expected
  • Out-of-town travel: Occasional, based on customer and business needs

Normal business hours are 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
