Supply Chain Coordinator (Hybrid), Alpharetta, GA

Who we are looking for:

The Supply Chain Coordinator I role resides in our Alpharetta, GA headquarters. Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, the ideal candidate will have experience in customer service or supply chain and has proven cross-functional communication and collaboration skills and working knowledge of the order to cash process.

Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Coordinator role acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and all functions of the supply chain. This role manages day-to-day activities supporting their assigned customers (internal or external) including administration of order management, documentation, and communication, which supports sales initiatives and customers in meeting their business objectives. This position ensures KPIs and performance goals are met as it pertains to achieving excellent customer delight experience.

Position Responsibilities:

Serving as a critical point of contact for our customers, the Supply Chain Coordinator role is to ensure Arclin customers have an excellent customer service experience. This includes understanding Arclin’s products, operations, policies, and systems, in conjunction with a thorough understanding of our customers’ products, will enable improvements in how we service our customers. Three (3) focus areas of responsibility that help create excellent service:

Daily Activities / Order Management:

  • Process customer orders received by phone, fax, mail, e-mail, and EDI
  • Monitor orders and production schedules to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests
  • Oversee processing of customer order status and product knowledge requests
  • Process customer returns according to established department policies and procedures, working closely with the Credit Department
  • Submit and verify accuracy of customer data in ERP system

Customer Service / Communication & Collaboration:

  • Partner with Sales Representatives and Supply Planning teams to meet and exceed customer service expectations
  • Maintain welcoming and responsive rapport with customers to ensure positive experience with the company
  • Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns, escalating issues to senior management when necessary
  • Perform first level problem solving to best meet customer’s needs with least impact to company profit margin

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve work and efficiency, evaluate risks/opportunities, and help lead the implementation of those opportunities. Ensure that improvements are aligned with Arclin’s customer service, logistics, and sales objectives.
  • Help develop, analyze, and implement cost reduction and margin improvement strategies for the customer service and sales operational teams.

Qualifications (minimum)

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or other related fields
  • 0-5 years of customer service, logistics coordination, or supply chain experience required, preferably interacting with operations or a manufacturing environment
  • Self-starter with ability to work with little work direction
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, set priorities, and manage projects
  • Solid communication, collaboration and influencing skills, specifically in a cross functional team environment.
  • Ability to articulate complex situations and effectively communicate to a broad audience using PowerPoint, Excel are other reporting/data tools.

Qualifications (preferred)

  • Experience in JDE systems and processes
  • Change Management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools – specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge and previous application of Continuous Improvement and/or LEAN principles
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid attention to detail, thoroughness and sense of urgency
  • Knowledge of Order to Cash processes/polices
