Job Title: Logistics Associate - Stockroom & Shipping and Receiving Job Category: Logistics Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: None Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Logistics Associate to support tasks in both our stock room, and shipping and receiving departments in Danbury, CT. Responsibilities: The Stockroom position is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and managing inventory in a stockroom or warehouse. They ensure that items are properly stored, labeled, and easily accessible for efficient operations.

Principal responsibilities include the following: Daily stockroom activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing inventory items in compliance with company policies. Support regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize loss. Collaborate with procurement and other departments to forecast inventory needs and support supply chain initiatives.

Maintain inventory management software to ensure inventory accuracy. Customer service mindset to collaborate with internal customers to ensure business deliverables are met. Shipping & Receiving is responsible for managing the receipt and shipment of products, coordinating transportation, and maintaining shipping records.

They collaborate with internal teams, track shipments, organize the warehouse, and address any logistics issues. Principal responsibilities include the following: Manage the receipt and shipment of all products, materials and supplies to include scheduling critical transportation and pickup times from outside sources. Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.

Collaborates and communicates with buyers, project managers, engineers and others involved in the receipt and shipment of products. Tracks, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Promptly unloads trucks/deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.

Keep and maintain files of products shipped and received by preparing shipping and receiving reports for managers. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Troubleshoots shipping/receiving issues that arise and work to solve them.

As work responsibilities may vary depending on specific program needs and/or business initiatives, the incumbent may be required to perform duties outside of the above listed tasks and responsibilities. Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
