Description
The Relationship Banker is a frontline financial partner (financial MDs) that is part of a supportive and dynamic member focused sales team. As a Relationship Banker, youโll work in a fast-paced environment processing routine financial transactions for members in-person, over the phone, and by e-mail. Youโll engage in consultative conversations with members to establish a strong rapport and understanding of their financial needs and offer tailored products and services to help them reach their financial dreams.

Job Duties:ย ย
- Quickly process routine financial transactions for members including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, and cashierโs checks, while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal proceduresย ย ย
- Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accountsย ย ย
- Provide the highest quality of member service by promptly addressing member concerns and escalate to leadership when appropriateย ย ย
- Proactively identify and recommend the best products and services to meet the membersโ financial needs and partner with service teams including insurance, investments, Premier, and mortgageย ย ย
- Meet quarterly metrics and service objectives (i.e. campaigns, cross-selling, and referrals), alongside sales targets, and incentives to help drive and execute on key business goals and initiativesย ย ย
- Complete required compliance training within well-defined timelines and utilize available resources to maintain in depth current knowledge of all current credit union products and servicesย ย ย
- Perform account maintenance activities including updating member contact and personal informationย ย ย
- Perform follow-up activities and outbound calls for new and existing membersย ย ย
ย ย ย
Essential Skills:ย ย
- Minimum six (6) months in a fast-paced sales or customer service role required; financial services experience preferredย ย ย
- Ability to listen to membersโ needs and provide tailored product recommendationsย ย ย
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objectionsย ย ย
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logicallyย ย ย
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environmentย ย ย
- Ability to work in fast-paced customer service and sales environment without sacrificing accuracy and serviceย ย ย
- Aptitude for learning a variety of computer systems using technology to solve member issuesย ย ย
- Possesses critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detailย ย ย
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suiteย ย ย
- Certification/License: Notary preferredย
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalentย
Location: Cornellย Experience Center - Hillsboro, OR 97124 (FULL TIME ON-SITE)

Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR:ย $20.50 to $24.75 per hour + monthly incentive
