What is LOGCAP IV?

LOGCAP IV stands for Logistics Civil Augmentation Program IV, which is a U.S. Army contract awarded to private companies to provide logistical and support services for military operations. These services include supply, transportation, maintenance, food services, and other essential support for troops, primarily in contingency or combat environments. LOGCAP IV is the fourth iteration of this program and has been used to support U.S. military efforts in locations such as Iraq and Afghanistan. The program is crucial for enabling military forces to focus on their missions while contractors handle various non-combat operations.
