Log Peeler Position In Hayward, CA!

Spectra360 has a Temp-to-Hire opportunity to work as a Log Peeler for one of our TRUSTED clients! This is an incredible opportunity to grow with an established company. Immediate openings, apply TODAY! Pay: $21.65 Shift: 5:00 AM โ€“ 1:30 PM Work Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday

Log Peeler Responsibilities:
  • Operate log peeling equipment according to company procedures and safety standards
  • Remove casings or outer layers from product logs while maintaining product integrity
  • Inspect product for quality, defects, and consistency during the peeling process
  • Ensure proper handling and transfer of product to the next stage of production
  • Maintain workflow both incoming material into the room and outgoing material down the line to keep line running efficiently.
  • Fill out all necessary Quality Assurance paperwork needed for the given area.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors or maintenance
  • Assist with setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting of equipment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry required
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Background check and drug screen prior to start date.
  • Candidate should be willing to commute to Fairfield for training for 4 weeks
