Job description

FNF Construction is currently hiring for a Parts Runner for our sites in Tempe, AZ. The Parts Runner is responsible for, but not limited to picking up and delivering equipment, parts and supplies to and from jobsites, vendors and the Corporate Equipment Center location.  

  • Provide pick-up and delivery service of equipment, parts and supplies for mechanics, oilers, and leadership.   
  • Provides customer service and support.
  • Represents FNF by presenting a positive image to internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Ensures accuracy of parts ordered during pick-up and delivery.
  • Assists mechanics and oilers as required.
  • Returns unused parts to vendors to avoid restocking fees.
  • Reads meters and reports hour usage on fleet vehicles and equipment.
  • Reports equipment repair needs to Maintenance Administrator.
  • Assists Mobilization department in loading and unloading equipment, as well as various tasks required in assembling trailers.
  • Will travel over state lines and possibly stay the night.
  • Assists in housekeeping within the Equipment Center, including crushing filters, sweeping, washing of bays, etc.
  • Collects all salvageable items and stores them in proper areas.  (Includes scrap steel, blown hoses, batteries, etc.)
  • Maintains Company vehicle in a clean and orderly state inside and out at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.  
  • Perform all duties in a timely and safe manner.  Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Card physical. 
  • Must be able to work nights. overnights and weekends.
  • Must be able to pass a road test.  
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to comprehend safety standards, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to pull and back up a tow behind trailer or Gooseneck.
  • Must be self-motivated and work productively
  • Must also be able to understand information, ideas, direction and perform the task or project discussed.
  • Must have reliable means of arriving and leaving from work at scheduled start and stop times
  • Adheres to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, including but not limited to the safety manual, and the employee handbook
  • Ability to qualify to drive under the company’s published Employee Driving Records Policy.
