Job description

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Trail Runner for Postcard Cabins Lake Hartwell, Seneca, SC.

Job Purpose:

This Position provides excellent guest service and cleaning services such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing walls, windows and mirrors, etc. in cabins and common areas. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.

Responsibilities

  • Loading the outpost vehicle with cleaning equipment, extra guest supplies, and firewood.
  • Prep the cabin interiors to be cleaned by removing all trash, stripping all linens, and re-stocking cabin provisions.
  • Ensure every cabin’s outdoor space is perfectly staged for every guest by cleaning and staging the lounge area (fire pit, campfire kit, Adirondack chairs, and picnic table), cleaning the cabin exteriors (windows, hitch, and wheels), and by removing all trash.
  • Responds to guest concerns, complaints or suggestions appropriately, refers them to management in support of providing superior guest service.
  • May gather waste and/or contaminated materials for disposal. Assigned areas of the Outpost may include cabins, trails, and common areas.
  • Maintains privacy and security by properly announcing entry and servicing cabins as appropriate.
  • Properly uses and maintains assigned equipment and supplies to departmental specifications, including vacuums, chemicals and cleaning aides.
  • Properly maintains the daily log, including accounting for completed tasks and reviewing the communications log and file on a routine basis.
  • Properly handles lost and found items in accordance with department policies and security procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
  • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or matters of significance.
  • Solve problems proactively in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
  • Operate with integrity and sound judgment, always respect your team and our guests, and hold yourself accountable.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and company values.
  • Adhere to the safety policies to maintain a safe work environment

Skills

  • Work experience as a Trail Runner or Houseman/Houseperson is required
  • Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
  • Good physical health and stamina
  • Flexibility to work in shifts
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • High school diploma is a plus
