Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center located inside Hocking Hills State Park is seeking candidates with outgoing, friendly & welcoming personalities for Front Desk Agentย positions.

Hocking Hills Lodge and Conference Center is a 81-room lodge with 40 cabins, a full-service restaurant/lounge, and banquet facilities to accommodate up to 200 guests. More property information is available atย www.GreatOhioLodges.com.ย 

Hocking Hills State Park is one of the most visited State Parks in the country requiring a level of attention to detail and service to meet the guest's expectations and experience.

To begin, Front Desk Agents will be responsible for check-in/check-out of the current 40 cabins on the property along with making reservations for the brand new lodge.ย  Front Desk Agents will move into the Lodge and be responsible for all responsibilities below.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Manage online and phone reservations; manage online guest check-ins, up-sells, and guest engagement system
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
  • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities
  • Respond to clientsโ€™ complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guestsโ€™ needs
  • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or other customer facing role
  • Experience with computers, copiers, faxes and other office equipment
  • Previous experience with answering multi-line telephones
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
