Position Title: Cabin Cleaner
Location: Hocking Hills State Park Cabins - Hocking Hills Lodge & Conference Center, Logan, OH
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time; Weekends and Holidays Required
Position Summary:
The Cabin Cleaner is responsible for ensuring a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests staying in the Hocking Hills State Park cabins. This position plays a key role in maintaining the lodge's high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by thoroughly cleaning cabins, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize guest cabins including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities
  • Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and clean windows and surfaces
  • Remove trash and recyclables; ensure cabins are refreshed for new arrivals
  • Inspect cabins for maintenance issues and report any damages or necessary repairs
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and linens from storage areas
  • Ensure outdoor entry areas and porches are swept and tidy
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with guests and fellow team members
Qualifications:
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required - training provided
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • Reliable transportation and dependability
  • Comfortable working in a physically active role (bending, lifting, walking, etc.)
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Frequent bending, stooping, walking, and standing for extended periods
