Job description

Nuclear Radiology Position

Location: Massachusetts

Position Type: Full-Time | Locum / Locum-to-Perm

Overview: Hospital-based and outpatient radiology opportunity seeking a Nuclear Radiologist to support a growing service line. The role involves a diverse patient population and access to a full support team, with modern imaging technology and systems in place.

Practice Highlights
  • Hospital and outpatient practice setting

  • Average case volume: Variable

  • ER volume: ~120 patients per day

  • EMR/Documentation Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS

  • Radiology team size: 8 providers currently; 6 total after February

  • Full complement of support staff available

  • Patient population: Adolescent, Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric

Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (Required)

  • Active Massachusetts license OR pending MA license with submission date and estimated approval at time of name clear (Required)

  • ACLS and BLS certifications (Required)

  • Prior experience or demonstrated interest in Nuclear Radiology (thyroid experience preferred) (Required)

  • Self-Query NPDB report pulled within the same month as submission (Required)

Schedule & Coverage
  • Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90–120 days, pending timely completion of applications

  • Coverage across hospital and outpatient locations
