Job Title: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology
Facility Overview: Join a collaborative team in Kearney, Nebraska, at a reputable Level II Trauma Center, providing essential Interventional Radiology services. This facility plays a vital role in maintaining trauma care standards and is seeking locum coverage due to provider transition. The practice operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule for medical professionals.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive Interventional Radiology services, including but not limited to:
    • Spine procedures (pain management injections, vertebral augmentation)
    • Ports and central line placements
    • Solid organ biopsies and drainages
    • Oncology interventions and image-guided therapies
    • Kyphoplasty
    • Breast biopsies
  • Engage with support staff, including dedicated technologists and nursing teams.
  • Contribute to a collaborative working environment.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology.
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in broad-based Interventional Radiology practice.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certification - Required
  • Nebraska Medical License - Highly Preferred
  • Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - Required if no NE license
  • Clean background and malpractice history - Highly Preferred
  • Availability at the time of name clearance - Required
