Company Description SOLUTIONS COUNSELING LCSW PLLC is a medical practice located at 6500 Jericho Turnpike in Commack, New York, providing counseling and behavioral health services to individuals and families in the community. Role Description The Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), LCSW, or LMHC will provide direct clinical services to children ages 4+ for individual and family counseling, and treatment planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely documentation, collaborating with supervisors and colleagues on complex cases, and participating in case consultations. The LMSW will help connect clients with appropriate community resources, coordinate care with other providers when needed, and support crisis intervention within their scope of practice. This is a part-time (at least 10 clients per week), on-site role located in Commack, NY, requiring regular in-person sessions and adherence to practice policies and professional standards.

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), LCSW or LMHC credential and eligibility to practice clinically.
  • Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-informed counseling for individuals and families.
  • Ability to maintain thorough, compliant documentation and manage a part-time caseload responsibly.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills for working with clients, supervisors, and interdisciplinary providers.
