Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine in North Adams, MA
Join an esteemed medical facility located in North Adams, Massachusetts, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services. We are actively seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to cover shifts at our hospitals, focusing primarily on morning and night shifts. This facility offers a collaborative environment with an annual ER volume of 55,000 patients.
Facility Details:
  • Trauma Level: 3
  • Total Number of Beds: 32
  • EMR: Meditech
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medicine care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitor and supervise paramedics and ambulance communication via radio.
  • Work with an established hospitalist or admitting service for patient admissions.
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers for patient management.
  • Respond to emergency calls and manage triage as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
  • Active Massachusetts medical license preferred.
  • BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications required.
  • Clean background for quick credentialing.
  • Preference for local providers with no flight requirements.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Active Massachusetts medical license (highly preferred).
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
