Job description

JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Physician – Diagnostic Radiology
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Florence, SC
• Service Setting: Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am - 4pm or 8am – 5pm
                                             Weekend day shifts available 7am to 4 pm
• On-Call Shift Schedule: No call required

• Patient Volume/Census: Average RVUs 70–80 per shift

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• General radiology reads
• Light interventional procedures
• IR On-Site Studies: Arteriograms, CT-Fluoro Biopsies, Ablations, Embolization, Kyphoplasty, Gastrostomy Placement, Pleurx Catheter Insertion, Nephrostomy Tube Insertion, Port Placements, Tunneled and Non-Tunneled Catheters, Dialysis Graft Declots, Biliary Drainages
• General On-Site Studies: Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Fluoro BE-UGI-Barium Swallows, Modified Barium Swallows, Ultrasound Guided Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Galactograms

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active SC license preferred; non-licensed candidates considered with FCVS
• Board: Board Eligible within 5 years
• DEA: Active DEA Certification required
• Certifications: Not specified
• Experience: Fellowship required
• Other Qualifications: Ability to cross-credential for Black River and Marion locations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform diagnostic radiology studies and interpretations
• Complete light interventional radiology procedures on site
• Provide daytime clinical radiology coverage with no call requirements
• Collaborate with radiology network team reading for Regional Health Network
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
