Description:

The position supports long term and short-term competitive procurements pertaining to simple to complex build-to-print metallic Airframe parts. It entails supplier source selection, contract administration and purchase order placement in support of any of the following programs: F-35, C-130, F-16 and F-22. Duties include: documentation and interface with functional organizations. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' briefings, analyzes, and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Procurement of build to print detail parts and assemblies from engineering drawings in support of various aircraft programs (C-130, F-35, F-16 and F-22). Will help develop solutions for complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation. Must be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in Built-to-Print Supply Chain, Procurement, Buyer and/or Subcontract Management
  • Ability to work efficiently in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Strong data analysis, problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with multi-tasking, following-up and seeing assignments through to completion
  • Detail oriented having the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in making business based decisions and critical thinking
  • Knowledge and experience buying under the guidelines of the FAR/DFAR and other acquisition policies and procedures
  • Ability to understand technical requirements, drawings, manufacturing processes, etc. for build-to-print parts
  • Demonstrated performance being proactive, customer service oriented, engaged with team, collaborative and accountable
  • Excellent team player, ability to coach, train and review others work. Experience peer reviewing.
  • Management Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP, P2P, PO Folders)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
