Job description

Standard Job Description
You will set up and operate various types of CNC machinery such as mills and lathes, or conventional machines such as lathes, jig borers, or grinders.
Machine complex parts to exacting blueprint tolerances, meticulously meet specified requirements, ensuring the quality of finished parts.
Collaborates with a suppportive team to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery.
Participates in company training programs, guided by subject matter experts, to develop your skills and advance your career.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet manufacturing goals.
Basic Qualifications
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Independently program, edit programs, set up and run CNC or conventional machines.
Desired Skills
Possess a certification from the National Institute of Metalworking Skills. (NIMS)
Graduation from a state approved journeyman program or receipt of an associate's degree in machine technology.
Receipt of a machine technology certification of completion with a minimum of 1500 hours of training.
Ability to edit and program Mazak, Siemans, or Fanuc controls.
1 to 2 years of machining experience with either CNC and/or conventional machines.
