Job description

The Relay Panel Test Tech plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of various relay panel systems, including electromechanical, solid-state, digital protection, and custom configurations. Working within a medium-sized team of 6-15 members, this position focuses on comprehensive testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality assurance without any travel requirements. Utilizing standard and specialized testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and relay testers, the tech contributes to maintaining high safety and quality standards in all testing procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Test electromechanical, solid-state, digital protection, and custom relay panels for functionality and reliability
  • Calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose relay panel issues promptly
  • Perform quality assurance checks in accordance with safety and quality standards
  • Inspect components for defects or wear
