Job Description

The Treasury Sales Associate (TSA) is integral to the Treasury Sales team, providing cash management, trade, liquidity and commercial card solutions.  Supporting the Treasury Management Officers (TMOs), the TSA helps in acquiring, expanding, managing, and maintaining Treasury relationships, and with moderate oversight, manages a diverse mid-sized portfolio of moderate complexity.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will assist Treasury Management Officers in evaluating the profitability of current and potential banking relationships.
  • You will understand client cash management goals and recommend cross-selling opportunities using product and competitor knowledge.
  • You will maintain an accurate pipeline of deals and track progress throughout the sales cycle.
  • You will collaborate with TMOs to identify customer needs and support new prospecting efforts.
  • You will contribute to client proposals with cost/benefit analysis, competitive pricing, and profitability modeling.
  • You will coordinate implementation and post-sale follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and accurate billing.
  • You will serve as a secondary relationship contact, providing ongoing support and resolving client inquiries.
Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, along with 3+ years' relevant banking and Treasury Sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.   

  • Working knowledge and understanding of general banking.
  • Understanding of cash management services and knowledge of products like Online Access Service, Remote Deposit, Lockbox and ACH Systems, including pricing and billing processes.
  • Ability to read and leverage data to identify trends and sales opportunities.
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting, finance, and cash management practices.
  • Awareness of risk guidelines and ability to manage risk proficiently.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete various tasks within assigned deadlines.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication, with strong presentation skills.
