GENERAL FUNCTION: Directs Workflow in assigned Operations department. Monitors productivity, and ensures staff compliance with Bancorp policies and procedures. Remain k nowledge of all departmental areas with ability to assist in all functions as needed.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for directing workflow and prioritizing. Monitors productivity, quality, procedures and provides feedback to management.

  • Knowledge of all departmental areas with ability to assist in all functions as needed.

  • Oversee and assist in resolving escalated operational and customer service issues.

  • Oversee training of new hires, ensuring a full understanding of departmental and Bank procedures as well as individual job responsibilities.

  • Promote teamwork and the cross training of employees.

  • Notify management of any potential customer service issues, procedural issues and risk issues.

  • Identify and implement work efficiencies through process improvement techniques.

  • Perform Lockbox Support functions as needed within Lockbox processing group. This may include but is not limited to the following:

  • Perform Capture Repair (CPR) function

  • Research and solve questionable items within system

  • Receiving and Logging Overnight items

  • Logging and handling of International items

  • Credit Card batching and processing

  • Working with SLK team to answer questions regarding processing

  • Monitor daily file transmissions

  • Resolving data entry questions

  • Demonstrates mastery of all area equipment.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Two (2) years experience in Lockbox or comparable area.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environment.

  • Proven leadership skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Problem solving skills. Strong organizational skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft products, such as Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are a plus.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with exposure to dust, noise, temperature, and the like.

  • Extended viewing of CRT screen.

  • May operate various machinery.

  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.

  • Some operational areas require tolerance to noise produced by processing machinery.
