Position Overview
The Install Manager - Residential HVAC Installation owns full operational execution for our residential installation division. You will ensure all scheduled installs are completed on time, on budget, and done right the first time.
This is a field-first leadership role-you'll lead from job sites, coach teams in real time, and build a culture of accountability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Install Execution & Performance (COTIF Ownership)
  • Own performance using COTIF (Complete On Time In Full)
  • Ensure installs:
    • Start on time
    • Are completed same-day when scheduled
    • Meet quality & professionalism standards
  • Eliminate install rollovers, callbacks, and warranty issues
  • Ensure accurate job closeouts for revenue reporting

Crew Leadership & Accountability
  • Lead 3-15 installation crews (14+ team members)
  • Set daily expectations for:
    • Load-up & departure times
    • Job completion standards
  • Conduct job site visits, ride-alongs, and coaching sessions
  • Address underperformance quickly: Coach → Correct → Replace

Financial & Operational Discipline
  • Ensure accurate revenue reporting through job completion
  • Own key metrics:
    • Revenue vs. projection
    • Callback & rollover rates
  • Enforce Accounts Receivable collection processes in the field

Customer Experience
  • Ensure clean, professional job sites (booties, drop cloths, etc.)
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve escalations quickly

Team Development & Culture
  • Build a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountability
  • Develop team members:
    • Helpers → Leads → Leaders
  • Promote top performers and address low performance

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of HVAC installation or field leadership experience
  • Proven success managing crews and job site execution
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems & install processes

  • EPA Certification
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to train full HVAC installations
