Certified Caregiver

We are seeking a Certified Caregiver to work full time for our Homecare Program in our Independent Living.

Starting Pay: $18.00-$22.00 Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 hours/week Location: Independent Living at Sagewood

What you'll do:

Your role is to provide hands on care and assist residents as needed with their care and ADLs along with being a companion to the residents. Assists with helping to keep resident's apartments tidy and other domestic duties as requested by the residents. Be a companion and keep our seniors active while encouraging and respecting their independence.

  • Ambulation and transfer assistance
  • Toileting, bathing, and grooming assistance
  • Wake up services and dressing assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Organizational help
  • Ambulation support (pushing a wheel chair or accompanying for balance)
  • Errands (grocery and household goods shopping, etc.)
  • Companionship
  • Schedule and medication reminders
  • Maintain service plan tracking of all services performed
  • Know and understand resident's expectations and meet those expectations within community policy
  • Inform Supervisor of any changing conditions that affect the resident's ability to function independently

  • Current Arizona Caregiver/Med Tech Certificate required
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care
