Job description

On-Site Webcasting Technician - Independent Contractor

Description

This role is a freelance A/V Technician who will stream Wall Street investor conferences on-site at various event spaces. Knowledge of video cameras, audio mixing, and streaming software required.

All equipment is provided for business continuity. Contractors will be paid an hourly rate plus a flat rate for travel. Travel expenses and a food stipend paid for by the Company.

TWST Events vary by location. Independent Contractors are not employees and have the ability to accept and reject assignments. Assignments are generally within a 100-mile radius, but additional assignments outside of that area may be available, as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand A/V signal flow and troubleshooting
  • Ability to create a clean, professional presentation of equipment
  • Ability to research and develop new skills
  • Be pleasant and energetic early in the morning
  • Ability to interact with clients face to face
  • Navigate service hallways and freight elevators at high-end hotel and event venues
  • Able to travel to midtown Manhattan by 6 AM or earlier
  • Able to travel out of state via air or provided ground transportation.
  • Report client feedback and potential product requests
  • Unpack/setup/test/run/break down of broadcast and audio visual equipment
  • Lift 50+lbs
  • Provide White-Glove Service

Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of video cameras, streaming software and audio/visual hardware, software and signal flows
  • Experience working with browser-based tools and hardware
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS/Android
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills

Job Type: Freelance, 100% onsite (Locations Nationwide)

Pay: $35.00 per hour. Paid travel expenses and expense reimbursement.

Flexible Schedule; Accept or decline events based on your schedule

Must be able to pass a background check
