Spec 2, Technical Writing (Localization Specialist)
Location: Irvine, CA (Headquarters) / Remote Eligible
Pay Rate: $28-$39.50 per hour

About the Role
Join a growing team dedicated to delivering high-quality multilingual content at a leading organization headquartered in Irvine, California. As a Localization Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of translated content, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement in localization operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain translated content within CMS and TMS platforms
- Coordinate import, export, and publication of multilingual content across all project stages
- Maintain and update content assets, translation memories, and linguistic resources
- Review, document, and track linguistic comments and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Collaborate with internal reviewers and external vendors for consistent implementation of linguistic changes
- Record and monitor quality issues, resolutions, and corrective actions
- Track, analyze, and report on linguist and vendor performance using quality metrics and data visualizations
- Present localization performance and quality trends to leadership and key stakeholders
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in localization, technical writing, or content management
- Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Translation Management Systems (TMS)
