MLR.org is seeking a compassionate and driven Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our client's forward-thinking medical team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, utilizing cutting-edge CT technology to deliver critical insights that can transform patient care.
As a vital member of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate closely with Radiologists during interventional procedures requiring CT guidance. Your expertise will be indispensable, not only in executing advanced imaging techniques but also in ensuring every patient receives exceptional care and attention.

Efficiently schedules CT exams, ensuring coordination with other patient appointments for smooth workflow.
Safely positions and transfers patients to ensure comfort and accurate imaging results.
Tailors technical settings to each patient's specific needs for precise and individualized imaging.
Performs a variety of CT procedures, including abdominal, retroperitoneal, obstetric, and gynecological scans, and localization for treatment planning and minor surgical interventions.
Assists physicians during specialized procedures such as needle biopsies, amniocentesis, and renal biopsies, providing scanning and patient marking support as needed.
Conducts radiographic examinations, if licensed by the State of Arizona, when required.
Accurately documents all examination data and maintains thorough patient records.
Operates and calibrates CT equipment according to protocols, ensuring optimal performance.
Prepares and administers contrast media, either oral or injectable, following safety and clinical guidelines.
Ensures proper radiation safety measures are consistently applied to protect patients and staff.
Adheres to departmental policies, quality assurance standards, and safety protocols, including environmental and infection control measures.
Actively participates in professional development through educational opportunities, in-service meetings, and staying current with relevant literature.
Demonstrates competence in providing age-appropriate care, from newborns to geriatric patients.
Provides courteous, prompt service to patients, staff, and visitors, maintaining confidentiality and upholding the hospital's guest relations standards.
Education: Completion of a training program in Radiological Technology from an approved school.
Licensure: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
Certification: State of Arizona certification as a Radiologic Technologist is required. Current CPR certification is required.
